There is good underwater visibility, especially during summer months, while fish, octopuses, and large rocks make diving enjoyable. There is a cove on the eastern side of the island which provides protection from northerly winds, making it suitable for anchorage and swimming. Visiting the island’s west coast at a distance of less than 0.3 nautical miles is prohibited without special permission.

In the event of strong northerly winds, depart and return from the nearest point in Vouliagmeni, and coastal sailing to and from the point of departure.

They are very close to Saronida. Ideal destination on the days with strong winds, because their approach is made by coastal navigation. During the ride to Astropelekia, keep a distance of 300 meters from the coast, in order to avoid two reefs on your left, which are shown on the sea map.

Easy anchorage on the leeward side. May be visited by swimmers from the land, spear fishermen, canoes and kayaks. They do not have their own beach. Ideal for handline and fishing of skipjacks by troll line at the end of the summer. Very interesting seabed with bright blue waters.

It is situated at a distance of 4 nautical miles from the starting point with south direction. It has three sandy beaches, two on the north side and one on the east side, which provides protection from north winds. Very nice sandy seabed, ideal for swimming and diving. On the south side, which is rocky, there are beautiful blue waters and a cave, which is visited by scuba divers schools.

During the ride from the starting point and at a distance of 1 nautical mile before arrival CAUTION, recognize the rocks Koudounia and pass between them and the coast, which is at a distance of 0.6 nautical miles. There is a reef, which is slightly seen from the sea opposite the Hotel Mavro Lithari, at a distance of approximately 200 meters from the coast.

Ideal bank during the winter. Very nice seabed with seasonal shoals of little fish, nests of octopuses and urchins. It has plants and it is the island of seagulls and cormorants. It has a characteristic smell upon its approach, because of the flowers of the plants flourishing there. There is a small cave on the southern side and it is a refuge for seals in the winter. It does not provide protection from north and west winds, except for the south side, where the seabed is rocky and makes the raising of the anchor difficult.

It does not provide protection from north and west winds and there are shallows with reefs on the southeastern side, therefore attention is required upon approaching them.

It has plants during the summer months and it is a good bank for amateur and professional fishermen. Very nice seabed, ideal for diving, that is why it is visited by scuba diving schools.

Their approaching and especially the return becomes difficult with north winds (meltemia) with a wind force of more than 3 on the Beaufort scale. In this case, we suggest ride to the CALYPSO island having the wind on the side, reaching the land and return coastally to the small port.
