FLEVES ISLAND
Fleves and Flevopoula are two very beautiful and interesting islands located a short distance from the west coast of Attica. They constitute an interesting diving destination, with the Panagis shipwreck located nearby, off the southern coast.
There is good underwater visibility, especially during summer months, while fish, octopuses, and large rocks make diving enjoyable. There is a cove on the eastern side of the island which provides protection from northerly winds, making it suitable for anchorage and swimming. Visiting the island’s west coast at a distance of less than 0.3 nautical miles is prohibited without special permission.
In the event of strong northerly winds, depart and return from the nearest point in Vouliagmeni, and coastal sailing to and from the point of departure.
