PATROKLOS ISLAND

Patroklos or Gaidouronisi is situated with south direction , on the way to Sounio, four nautical miles past the island of Arsida, three nautical miles before reaching Sounio, opposite the settlement of Legrena. It is located near the coast, at a distance of 850 meters. It has a surface area of 2.800 acres.

It features several beaches with crystal clear blue waters, the most popular of which are located on each side of the lighthouse across from the mainland. It is a popular fishing destination. In case of winds with force more that 3 on the Beaufort scale, approach the closest point of the mainland and return coastally, where the wind waves are not that strong.

The visit is offered for a six or nine hour cruise.
