POTHITOS ISLAND
The complex of the two small islands POTHITOS and POTHITAKI at a distance of 2 nautical miles from the starting point. Anchorage between the two little islands with sandy seabed.
It does not provide protection from north and west winds and there are shallows with reefs on the southeastern side, therefore attention is required upon approaching them.
It has plants during the summer months and it is a good bank for amateur and professional fishermen. Very nice seabed, ideal for diving, that is why it is visited by scuba diving schools.
Their approaching and especially the return becomes difficult with north winds (meltemia) with a wind force of more than 3 on the Beaufort scale. In this case, we suggest ride to the CALYPSO island having the wind on the side, reaching the land and return coastally to the small port.
