Patroklos or Gaidouronisi is situated with south direction , on the way to Sounio, four nautical miles past the island of Arsida, three nautical miles before reaching Sounio, opposite the settlement of Legrena. It is located near the coast, at a distance of 850 meters. It has a surface area of 2.800 acres.<\/p>\n
It features several beaches with crystal clear blue waters, the most popular of which are located on each side of the lighthouse across from the mainland. It is a popular fishing destination. In case of winds with force more that 3 on the Beaufort scale, approach the closest point of the mainland and return coastally, where the wind waves are not that strong.<\/p>\n
